Our mission statement is to provide continuous education and support regarding personal well-being and at this time we are open and available to our communities. We as a Board and an Organization are committed to offering a wide variety of on-line groups (zoom, web-ex and google hangouts) to provide opportunities for everyone to connect and be a part of a community. In an effort to decrease anxiety, isolation and fear, every day our committed staff are continuing to work to support the community we serve by facilitating daily online support groups and providing opportunities and space for individuals to stay socially connected and engaged in their well-being while practicing physical distancing. Thanks to technology, the internet, computers, people can continue moving forward by creating and achieving new goals that support their wellness.

It has been our experience that as human beings we have all faced similar emotional trials and tribulations at some moment in time. We are clear that every aspect of life — the place we live, the people we live with, our friends and acquaintances, the things we do or don't do, the things we own, our work, even things like pets, music, and color affect how we feel. It is our belief that everyone should have the opportunity to receive the support that is needed to change their circumstances or just to feel better.

Because of your contributions not one person that requested our services was left behind or alone in a place of isolation, anxiety, fear or hunger during these times of crisis.

One New Heartbeat fills a gap between traditional medical, rehabilitation and social models. That gap is effective support of personal mental, physical, emotional and spiritual (not religious) wellness and connecting it to resources that help navigate and leverage day-to-day whole person health, financial and community resources.Your donations ensured that we were able to continue to offer a safe environment of support, empowering individuals to take back control even when it seems that things were out of control. We also provided groups which are critical for anyone affected by life threatening illnesses such as cancer, HIV and HCV.
